葡京平台游戏appthis minor will equip you with the tools to identify factors that constrain women’s lives. you’ll work with our stellar staff to examine gender through the lens of literature, history, popular culture, sociology, religion and more. you can also join the goshen student women’s association (gswa), a student-run club whose mission is to build community and create a safe space to discuss women’s issues and other concerns. when you enter the job market, organizations will value your unique, informed perspective on contemporary issues related to gender.
while at goshen college, rachel halder '10, from parnell, iowa, studied communications and women's studies. since graduating, rachel designed and worked in support groups for young girls and women in peru and indonesia.
sam carlson was a peace, justice and conflict studies major with a minor in women’s and gender studies who takes his pjcs studies seriously. in the summer of 2014, he served at a conflict resolution center in palestine.
becca yoder, from lancaster, pennsylvania, graduated in 2013. she is a singer, a spanish interpreter, a volunteer and a peacemaker who came to goshen college to study social work, spanish and women's studies.
